HYALURONIC ACID
Its high molecular weight of 1.6 million Da ensures the restoration of physiological homeostasis in the intercellular substance, which contributes to the activation of skin cell metabolism. Restores not only the physiological concentration, but also the fraction of large HA molecules, which decreases with age-related skin changes due to an increase in the concentration of hyaluronidase in the tissues. Normal homeostasis for fibroblasts triggers the synthesis of their own HA and other intercellular components.
GLYCINE
A simple amino acid, the main building block of collagen, makes up about 33% of collagen in the human body. Glycine is one of the components of the glutathione molecule, which provides antioxidant protection of cells by neutralizing free radicals, preventing cell damage. The amino acid is involved in DNA synthesis, being an important source of purines (adenine, guanine), and also participates in the metabolism of serine and homocysteine. It affects the processes of methylation and cell division.
ISOLEUCINE AND PROLINE
Although they belong to different classes of amino acids, in combination they provide increased energy metabolism and structural strength. Such stimulation of fibroblasts enhances the synthesis of collagen and elastin, strengthens the dermal matrix and increases skin elasticity. Isoleucine has a unique feature – it exhibits an anti-catabolic role, preventing the processes of catabolism (destruction) in tissues, preserving the youth of dermis structures. Additionally, it stimulates the activity of T-lymphocytes, increasing the barrier function of the skin. Proline is involved in the synthesis of all connective tissues of the body, except for the dermis, enhances regenerative properties to restore damaged cells, form new tissues and accelerate regeneration processes.
METHIONINE, HISTIDINE AND NIACINAMIDE (Vitamin B3)
Combines their ability to protect the skin, improve its barrier function and support cell regeneration. Methionine contributes to the synthesis of glutathione, one of the most powerful antioxidants in the body, which activates the protection of cells from the effects of ultraviolet radiation. Histidine, in turn, plays an important role in maintaining the normal function of histamine, which helps improve microcirculation and reduce symptoms of skin sensitivity. Niacinamide takes an active part in improving the skin microbiome, helping to maintain a healthy flora and preventing imbalances that can lead to inflammation and acne. When used for 12 weeks, skin quality improves, the depth of wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and redness are reduced, and skin elasticity increases. Together, these components help create a protective “shield” for the skin, keeping it young and healthy at the cellular level.
BIOTIN (vitamin B8), THIAMINE (vitamin B1) PYRIDOXINE (vitamin B6)
are key vitamins for skin health, playing an important role in its regeneration, protection and restoration, catalyzing important biochemical processes. Biotin improves metabolic processes in the skin, stimulates cell regeneration, maintains skin elasticity. Thiamine activates cellular respiration, providing the skin with the necessary energy to maintain its elasticity and youth, and also helps improve microcirculation, which helps tissue repair. Pyridoxine is a cofactor of amino acid metabolism, thus improving collagen synthesis. It supports the balance of sodium and calcium, helps to even out skin texture, providing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
CALCIUM, POTASSIUM, SODIUM
They support the connection in the dermo-epidermal junction, ensuring the stability of the network of keratin filaments for a strong connection of cells with corneodesmosomes. Calcium triggers the production of protein kinase C, which stimulates the differentiation and proliferation of basal keratinocytes. Potassium participates in the work of the sodium-potassium pump (Na+/K+- ATPase) – a mechanism that supports the distribution of ions and control of water content in cells, stable intercellular signal transmission, prevents dehydration and maintains the pH of the skin, protecting it from the development of pathogenic microflora.
