Anti-Age
Aging skin is one of the primary concerns that cosmetologists encounter and address on a daily basis. The purpose of anti-aging therapy is to promote cell renewal, stimulate metabolism, enhance overall vitality, and stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin.
How do beauty therapists choose anti ageing skin care products and treatments for their patients? Certainly, factors such as the morphological types of aging and the age of the patient should be taken into account. However, we do not focus solely on these aspects. Tired, fine-wrinkled, deformed, and muscular types of aging are not isolated forms; more often, they occur in combination. Additionally, the patient’s age itself doesn’t solely determine skin condition. Signs of aging may appear as early as 25 due to factors such as active facial expressions, an active lifestyle, and excessive sun exposure, leading to premature aging and photoaging. In such cases, the cosmetologist’s task is to initiate corrective measures as early as age 25.
It is crucial to carefully consider the current clinical picture and prescribe anti ageing skin care products and professional procedures according to the skin condition. For instance, if the patient has a lack of lipids, the priority should be to restore the lipid barrier before proceeding with anti-aging therapy based on the current clinical condition.
